Acacia Calisthenics Club was the most successful calisthenics club in SA in 2021 and we have been developing strong, confident, skilled, happy performers through friendship, dedication, teamwork, and fun since 1977. Students at Acacia study all Calisthenics genres including March, Exercise, Rods, Club Swinging, Calisthenics Revue, Song and Dance, Character Folk Dance, Aesthetic, Rhythmical Aesthetic and Calisthenics Skills. We keep our class sizes small to give our students maximum learning experience in a safe environment.
Calisthenics is the perfect sport for those who want to do it all! The variety of genres taught in Calisthenics provides students the opportunity to develop strength, flexibility, grace, and confidence. Students learn and perform a variety of routines reflecting ballet, lyrical, acrobatics, jazz, and musical theatre with additional genres of march, clubs, and rods unique to calisthenics. Participating in one calisthenics class per week is the equivalent of taking six different dance classes for most students!
Students at Acacia also have the option to participate in private solo, duo and graceful girl lessons with one of our qualified coaches. Our coaches are all accredited with the Calisthenics Association of South Australia and with over 30 years combineed coaching experience, are highly skilled and dedicated to sharing their passion for Calisthenics with our students.
