Age: Intermediates is for teenagers aged 14 to 17 years on 31 December in year of participation, with 13 year old accepted on request.
Description: Intermediates is a competiition team, with moderate-high commitment. This class is aimed at 14 to 17 years olds with previous calisthenics, gymnastics or dance experience or beginners who are enthusiastic, hard-working or show natural ability. In this class students will learn 6 items in line with CASA’s item rotation during Terms 1 to 3 and participate in the calisthenics skills and STAR program in Term 4 during their normal class time.
Commitment: Moderate-high - This is a competitive team. Student will perform in our Showcase in July, and the CASA State Championships in August plus an additional team competition in June or July. Classes are held weekly during school terms and during April and July school holidays. It is highly recommended that students in this team do not miss classes unnecessarily, participate in extra classes and stage rehearsals. Students are expected to practise at home from class videos.
Commitment: Moderate-high – This is a compeitive class.
